VIJAY'S SARKAR GOES FOR A WHOPPING PRICE

The expectations for Vijay's upcoming film Sarkar is on an all-time high as it marks the reunion of Thalapathy and AR Murugadoss. The duo has given two smashing hits Thuppakki and Kaththi before.

Now the latest news we have for you is that Ashok Vallabhaneni has apparently acquired the Telugu release rights of Sarkar, but the official confirmation has to come from the producers Sun Pictures.

Vijay's last film Mersal directed by Atlee was dubbed in Telugu as Adirindhi and released two weeks later from the original version's release. The film reaped good returns for its distributors. So the Telugu version's rights have also gone for a whopping amount.

It must be noted that Ashok Vallabhaneni has now released Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam in Telugu as Nawab.

The first single from Thalapathy Vijay's Sarkar, titled Simtaangaran, has been well received by Thalapathy fans, and the lyric video of the song has crossed over 10 million views on YouTube. However, there was a certain amount of mixed reviews from a section of audience.
