Telugu dubbed version of Vijay's 'Sarkar' does exceptionally well in AP and Telangana

Vijay’s “Sarkar” is a mediocre political thriller and it got mixed reviews. Yet, this has not spoiled the movie’s prospects at the box-office. As there is no major competition, the film is having decent run in Telugu states. ‘Sarkar’ needs to get Rs 7 Cr share to see profits. With ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ turning flop and ‘Adhugo’ turning out to be a disaster, Vijay’s movie would definitely bring in profits for all parties.
The film is expected to reach to the break-even stage by end of this weekend. The controversies surrounding the film in Tamilnadu have also helped the movie to get free publicity.
‘Sarkar’ starred Vijay and Keerthy Suresh and it is directed by A R Murugadoss.
