Actor Vijay is busy shooting for Thalapathy 63, directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. The shooting is currently progressing in Binny Mills, Meenambakkam, with scenes involving Vijay, Yogi Babu, Anandaraj, Kathir and Dheena being canned. We've now got an exclusive update about the team's shooting plans for today (February 5).

We are told that the team of Thalapathy 63 will be shooting an important sequence at the Chennai International Airport today evening and the shoot is expected to carry on till early next morning. Though the shooting was all this while happening at Binny Mills, we are informed that the team will shoot at the Airport only for this evening, because of permission issues. The makers might have been put in a tight situation to complete shoot at the airport by today itself, as they could resume shoot at their set in Binny Mills, whenever needed.

Vijay's character will be called Michael, a respectable youth from a locality called Samaadhanapuram. Rumors are afloat that this film could be a sports-based outing and there seemed to be some truth in this as music director A.R.Rahman recently revealed that Thalapathy 63 would be on the lines of Pele and Lagaan. Thalapathy fans are eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of Vijay's look as a football player.

Nayanthara and Vivekh play important characters in this film, which has visuals canned by GK Vishnu and cuts handled by Ruben.

Going by the tradition of the last two years, the first look and title of Thalapathy 63 are expected to be released on June 22, on the occasion of the actor's birthday, making it all the more special.
